1. Information we may collect

Account and profile information

• Name, email address, phone number, account role, profile photo, and account preferences.
• Gender, fitness level, height, weight, goals, and other information you choose to add to your fitness profile.

Fitness and activity information

• Workout plans, exercises, sets, repetitions, weight, rest periods, workout duration, progress records, and Paloop scores.
• Food, nutrition, or wellbeing information you choose to record.

Content and communications

• Photos, videos, audio recordings, posts, comments, messages, and other content you choose to create or share.
• Communications sent to coaches, athletes, community members, or our support team through the app.

Device and technical information

• Device type, operating system, app version, push-notification token, language, and technical information needed to operate and secure the service.
• Local app preferences stored on your device.

2. Health data

With your explicit permission, Paloop may access health or fitness information through Apple HealthKit or Google Health Connect, such as workout, activity, heart-rate, or related fitness data. Health access is optional and controlled through your device settings.

We do not use health data for advertising, sell it, or share it with data brokers. Health data is used only to provide fitness features that you request, improve the accuracy of your workout experience, and display relevant progress information.

3. Camera, photos, microphone, and notifications

Paloop requests access only when needed for a feature you choose to use:

• Camera and photo library: to capture or select workout photos and videos, profile images, and posts.
• Microphone: to record audio where an audio-recording feature is used.
• Notifications: to send workout, coaching, community, account, and service updates.
• Photo-library saving: to save media to your device when you request it.

You can change these permissions at any time in your device settings. Some features may not work without their corresponding permission.

4. How we use information

• Provide, personalise, maintain, and secure Paloop.
• Create and manage accounts, workout plans, progress records, posts, and communications.
• Connect athletes and coaches and support community features.
• Send requested notifications and important service messages.
• Respond to support requests and investigate technical or security issues.
• Comply with applicable laws and protect users, Rasm Al Hayat, and the public.

5. Service providers

We use trusted service providers to operate Paloop. These may include:

• Supabase: authentication, database, storage, and backend services.
• Google Firebase Cloud Messaging: delivery of push notifications.
• Apple HealthKit / Google Health Connect: health and fitness connections that you authorise.

Providers process information only as necessary to supply their services and under their own privacy and security obligations. We may also disclose information when legally required, to protect rights and safety, or as part of a corporate transaction subject to appropriate safeguards.

6. Sharing and visibility

Information you post publicly may be visible to other Paloop users. Private profiles, direct messages, and coach-sharing features are handled according to the settings and recipients you select. Before sharing content, review its audience and avoid posting sensitive information that you do not want others to see.

7. Data retention and deletion

We retain information for as long as needed to provide Paloop, maintain security and legal records, resolve disputes, and meet applicable obligations. Retention periods may vary by data type.

You may request access, correction, export, or deletion of your account and personal information by using the account controls available in Paloop or contacting mohammadalighods@rasmalhayat.com. We may need to verify your identity. Some information may be retained when required by law or for legitimate security and recordkeeping purposes.

8. Security and international processing

We use reasonable administrative, technical, and organisational safeguards designed to protect information. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure. Service providers may process information in countries other than your own, subject to applicable safeguards and legal requirements.

9. Children

Paloop is not directed to children under 13, or a higher minimum age where required by local law. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children who are not legally permitted to use the service. If you believe a child has provided information improperly, please contact us.

10. Changes to this policy

We may update this Privacy Policy as Paloop develops or legal requirements change. We will publish the revised version on this page and update the effective date. Where appropriate, we may also notify users in the app.
